Quat Quicken For Mac Runs Yosemite

Now available at the Mac App Store for free, Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite was first announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June, and is the second update to be named after a place in Apple. You mention looking in Apple settings, but you find operating system upgrades in the App Store. The link @RickO posted above details how to download El Capitan if you need it, assuming your Mac can run it. And as far as Quicken is concerned, you only need this if you're trying to run Quicken 2018; Quicken 2017 and earlier will run on Yosemite.

Hello Quicken Community. I am new to Quicken for MAC and I have this version:
Version 4.5.8 (Build 45.17542.100)
I am running it on an Early 2008 iMac running OSX Yosemite 10.10.5
I have been told by Apple that I can't upgrade my iMac to any newer software other than the latest Yosemite.
I am getting an URGENT message from Quicken when I launch that I need to download the latest version and I only have 1 week left.
I have searched release notes online and find lots of information about what is fixed and changed, but I can't find out if this new version of Quicken is compatible with my OSX.
I appreciate anys help.

The new version is still Quicken for Mac 2017 and it is still compatible with Yosemite. See the system requirements here:

You probably already know this but make sure you make a BACK UP of your account BEFORE you do any upgrade. I did the 'critical' upgrade on my mac without thinking and lost over a year's worth of data. We have not been able to figure it out.
