64bit MyHarmony for MAC OS Catalina Follow. Chubasco 26 October 2019 19:02; I've read Logitec's brief page regarding MyHarmony's incompatibility with Apples new Catalina 64bit operating system. However, it is unclear as to whether or not Logitec is working on updating its MyHarmony software to a 64bit version that would be compatible with. The new Harmony Desktop software for MacOS Catalina that was released on 10/4/2019 is missing the following functionality that was present in previous versions of the MyHarmony application. These are: - The ability to edit and/or add controls on the touch screen on the Harmony 950.
With the arrival of macOS Catalina comes stricter signing requirements for all applications as well as the removal of support for 32-bit code. These changes will affect Toon Boom's software, including Harmony 16, Storyboard Pro 6 and prior versions. These applications will not function with macOS Catalina.
To ensure the continued and efficient functionality of Harmony 16, Storyboard Pro 6, and previous versions of our software, we recommend that you remain on your current version of macOS.
Software adjustments have already been incorporated into Harmony 17 which will allow our software to run on macOS Catalina. These same improvements will be an integral part of all future releases, including our upcoming Storyboard Pro 7 (official launch date to be announced soon).
